Artefact: Daily Capture

Field Notes · 1 min

Earlier thinking. Written in early-to-mid 2026, when my work centred on AI and workflow redesign. I've kept it for the record. It predates my current frames. For where I am now, start with Working frames.

Daily Capture is how I collect ideas without forcing them to perform. It’s a single capture stream I return to later, not a list to be worked through.

Throughout the day, I capture things that catch my attention, something I read, hear, notice, or think.

There is no pressure to develop, explain, or act.

The goal is simple: to stop work living in my head.

Where capture happens is personal. For me, the emphasis is on voice over keyboard - getting things out quickly, without structure or polish - so ideas can exist safely before they deserve attention.

Daily Capture allows input without obligation.

This feeds into Daily HQ, where attention is applied deliberately.
