Rowan Works

Intelligence at the core, built around people.

I teach this with Otago Business School and prove it in real businesses. These pieces hold the stance, the design underneath it, and what the work is showing.

Start here

What I believe

Build intelligence into the centre of how an organisation works, with people in command.

How it works

Keep the record checkable. Let AI work over it. Keep a person responsible for what goes in and what happens next.

What it looks like in practice

For one person

A technical walkthrough of the files, rules and checks behind my own AI setup.

Inside an instrument

What building Mappa taught me about where AI helps, where it stops, and what a person still has to decide.

Inside an undergraduate paper

How we built BSNS 350 around positions, current NZ business practice and students building with AI.

What it changes

Working hypothesis for organisations

How firms may change when AI does more of the coordination and people keep responsibility for judgement.

For leaders

What 53 New Zealand leaders showed me about the moves available before an organisation is fully aligned.
