Not everything behind this work is published. Where showing something would publish another party's internal working, the fact is recorded here and the contents are not.
Method
This is a working hypothesis, not an institutional output and not a finding. It argues from Coase's account of why firms form at all, and asks what changes when the coordination a firm exists to do becomes cheap. Rachel recalls its first prompt as a Singularity podcast on moonshots; the episode is not identified or dated here, because she has not named it and a recollection is not a citation.

AI use
I use Claude Code and Codex for drafting, claim-checking against source documents, and building this page. Rachel McBride owns the stance, the argument and every claim.
